Making Connections

After deciding to look further into the tetrahedron shapes, we needed to work out how we could connect the paper once folded to create the shape. We were conscious of the fact that it needed to be straightforward to connect. Due to the handmade nature of the elements we decided to use a threading technique to pull the paper together, trying a number of options from twine, nylon fishing line and ribbon, all items that could be sourced from home. We also looked at using a standard way to create holes for the thread, using a hole punch was fast and consistent.
