Initial Instructional Drawings

In preparation for getting a friend to put together part of our kitset shelter design, Amy and I came up with some preliminary instructional drawings to help with the assembly. Knowing that the drawings would need to be worked on further we produced quick sketches and photographs as an initial test.

Drawings on how to construct the flat packed modules into the tetrahedron shape

Adhering the insert to the corrugated cardboard frames and then to the interior of the module

Overall view of how the tetrahedrons, when assembled into three hexagons, go together to form the shelter

More detailed instructions on how each hexagon is assembled, plus basic instructions on how to suspend the structure

How effective these drawings are remains to be seen…
